Whisky Single Malt 'Svein' Highland Park - 100cl

The Whisky Highland Park 12 years comes from the Orkney Islands where the distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the most remote in the world. Exposure to the elements of nature and the extreme position are a special feature of this single malt. For over two hundred years the distillery is based on ancient traditions and the best craftsmanship respecting certain fundamental aspects: the malting process operated manually on stone floors which gives the whiskey an extremely aromatic and balanced, the use of peat ancient Orkney (particularly aromatic because of the absence of trees) that gives a sweet smoky aroma and unique, the exploitation of the cold climate and air rich in sea salt that promotes great balance to whiskey, aging in oak barrels former sherry contributing to its unique richness and complexity. The whiskey Svein is expressed with beautiful yellow gold, clean and bright. Captivates with notes slightly torbate, pleasantly citrus and delicate with hints of vanilla. The finish is sweet and spicy, long and very persistent with notes purposes torbate reminiscent of tobacco, malt and dried fruit. The aging in American oak barrels contributes to significant enrichment of the bouquet and its intensity.
