The Sauvignon Vigna Runc, by the cellar Il Carpino, is a white wine created with younger vines of this reality. Il Carpino is a unique company in the area of San Floriano del Collio, on the border between Italy and Slovenia. The Sosol family runs the business constantly experimenting new strategies for the pursuit of quality and often engages actions in defense of food and wine of its territory, as confirmed by the participation in the committee for the defense of ribolla gialla grapes. The Sauvignon Vigna Runc is a good expression of this pursuit of excellence, dominated by fresh, mineral and vegetable flavours and surprise us for its smoky notes. From the marly sandstones, exposed to the south-east on which ripen its grapes, this elegant sauvignon gets its flavor and warm that makes it very enjoyable to drink.
