Sauvignon 'Porphyr & Kalk' Niedrist 2020

Ignaz Niedrist, born in 1960 and heir to a long tradition of wine, after years of experience in the wine cellar Colterenzio decided in 1991 to begin his own business, with his wife Elisabeth. Thanks to his training, his intelligence and good fortune to work on an area highly suited for the production of white wines, Ignaz Niedrist has managed to become a true landmark and mentor to young colleagues in South Tyrol. The ability of Ignaz allowed him to produce unique wines, never dull, but on the contrary, with great personality and elegance. His Sauvignon it really is a perfect example: a wine of rare elegance, the perfect balance of great vigor and energy. A wine that is not easily forgotten. The precision of this aromatic Sauvignon is conferred on its thanks to superb vineyards, located in one of the highest points of the hill Cornaiano, on acidic soils, moraine, debris-rich and quartzite, porphyry and granite; this features allow the vines to grow and ripen perfectly. The unique twist is given by the choices of Ignaz, whose work is characterized by scrupulous care in agronomic management: a prerequisite for producing a great Sauvignon.
