Domaine Hubert Lamy's Saint-Aubin Premier Cru "Les Murgers des Dents de Chiens" is a white wine of great finesse and elegance, made from pure Chardonnay grapes. It is the fruit of the savoir-faire of a family that has been cultivating vines in the Côte d'Or since the 17th century and running an estate with passion and craftsmanship, with the sole aim of giving voice to the nuances of an extraordinary terroir. Saint-Aubin is located between Chassagne et Puligny and is home to as many as 30 Climats classified Premier Cru. The vineyard is spread over sunny, southeast-facing hillsides at an altitude of 300-350 meters, which guarantees a cool climate and good temperature ranges.

Premier Cru "Les Murgers des Dents de Chiens" Saint-Aubin is one of the flagship labels of Domaine Hubert Lamy, which manages about 18 hectares of vineyards divided into many parcels, located mainly in the communal territories of: Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Santenay. Organic farming principles are followed in the countryside, and each vineyard is vinified separately. The wine comes from the grapes of a small parcel of Chardonnay, just 0.25 hectares in size, planted in 1985 within the Premier Cru Les Murgers des Dents de Chiens, which is located in the southern part of the Saint-Aubin commune, right on the border with Puligny-Montrachet. The grapes are gently pressed and the must is transferred to previously used 350- and 600-liter oak barrels, where a slow fermentation takes place using only indigenous yeasts. The wine is bottled after aging for 12 months in oak barrels, followed by 6-12 months in steel tanks.

"Les Murgers des Dents de Chiens" from Domaine Hubert Lamy is a Saint-Aubin Premier Cru that expresses the sunny character of the terroir of this wonderful Côte de Beaune Appellation. The area is famous for great Chardonnays, which achieve maturity and elegant aromatic concentration. To the eye, it is bright yellow in color. The bouquet is marked by refined floral aromas of orange blossom and verbena, aromas of lime, white-fleshed fruit, hints of almond and hints of flint. On the palate it is balanced and harmonious, with ripe, rich fruit that stretches towards a fresh, mineral finish with good flavor persistence. An Appellation to absolutely be discovered.
