The Rum Vieux Agricole Bielle 2006 is a rum that has been embellished by time, coming from an old distillery. Producted in “the island of a hundred mills”, Marie Galante, 30 km from Guadalupe, this agricole rum encloses a craft tradition that dates back to the 19th century, when Bielle family gave birth to an enterprise that is still appreciated all over the world: finely specialized techniques, native raw materials and the will of experimenting are the basic ingredients of Bielle agricole rums. This Vieux Rum has been produced from an ancient variety of cane sugar, strictly hand picked, and the spirit, which is made with a Savalle three columns still, rests for four years in bourbon barrels and for one year in brandy casks. Moreover, the choice of bottling the rum without any filtration does not deprive it of the intensity of flavors that the refining has imprinted in its soul.
