NeroSanlorè Gulfi 2011

The "Nerosanlorè" by Gulfi is a wine produced from Nero d'Avola with a particular complexity and sophistication which offers a streamlined plot and persuasive, multifaceted and surprising, with a stamp iodized that comes from the fact that the vineyards are among the closest to the sea.

A grape of ancient origin, initially only used as a blending wine, but soon turned into Sicilian excellence, especially between Noto and Pachino. And here Vito Catania created his winery, Gulfi, crowning the dream of a lifetime. Express the character of each district in the glass: thus Nero d'Avola "Nerosanlorè", a deep red that conveys the richness Mediterranean, offering notes with fleshy and full of fruit, without ever being heavy or excessive.

We are in the district more marine and insinuating between the Nero d'Avola of Gulfi; hence the harvest takes place in the second half of September and, after malolactic fermentation, the wine evolves in barrels of 225 and 500 liters for 24 months, then remained to stabilize in the bottle for another two years.
