Gewurztraminer 'Kolbenhof' Hofstatter 2015

A century ago, Josef Hofstatter founded the company in the town of Tramin, in Alto Adige, occupying the premises of an old building of the sixteenth century, which was originally the headquarters of the Royal Post Office and later housed the inn "Schwarzer Adler" (Eagle black). In 1997 Martin Foradori, the last heir of the winery, felt the need to expand the local and built a tower of wine, covered with wood, near the old church tower: old and new boldly into contact and confrontation. Gewurztraminer, which is produced on the estate Kolbenhof, owned by Hofstatter, is a truly remarkable wine, with full flavor and scents, capable of giving wonderful feeling of freshness and harmony.
