Etna Bianco Cottanera 2014

Etna Bianco by Cottanera is one of the latest wine in home Cottanera. A wine made from grapes Carricante, an ancient native vine, which finds its origin and its area of more common on the slopes of Etna. The name of this variety seems to have been given by the winemakers of Viagrande, near Catania, who have identified and selected them many years ago: its meaning would trace the abundant production that was able to give. A very special grape variety, which has never failed to find significant spread outside of Catania area. For these reasons Etna Bianco by Cottanera is a wine representative of the Sicilian territory, and in particular of the terroir of Etna, characterized by a typical flood-lava ground that requires special care and attention to the vines. A wine that thanks to the high altitude and temperature range typical of the Sicilian territory has developed a great aromatic freshness that is synonymous with originality and longevity.
