Dogliani 'Briccolero' Quinto Chionetti 2017

The Dogliani "Briccolero" by Quinto Chionetti is a real point of reference within this important denomination; an expression made by an historic cellar time to enhance the spatial features of this grape with a clean copy. In the 1912 when Giuseppe, grandfather of the Quinto, decided to create the winery Chionetti imposing itself immediately with the philosophy of respect for nature. Quinto Chionetti gave a new impetus to the idea of his grandfather, and was soon recognized as a guardian of Dogliani and the valuable potential of this terroir. The Dolcetto di Dogliani "Briccolero" is a perfect expression: great material and pulp in the mouth, with soft tannins and an intense finish dominated by the fruity, well accompanied by hints of tobacco and plum. We are in the cru Briccolero, in the territory of Dogliani, on vines exposed to the Southeast and placed on soils of medium texture, rich in limestone. Maceration on the skins for 14 days and winemaking entirely steel to preserve the fruity and freshness of this variety.
